Overview

To accelerate our growth, we are looking for a strategic, proactive, and well-organized SVP to drive new thinking and deliver truly innovative work. Reporting into the Chief Growth Officer, this senior role will be responsible for consultant engagement, pitch narrative and response, and leading a team to deliver on aggressive growth goals via new, organic business acquisition.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, drive, and deliver the product, practice, and process of business development and growth for the Spark Foundry network
  • Lead and orchestrate pitch engagement  
  • Strong understanding of media strategy, investment, and optimization across all types of media 
  • Partner with executive leadership to build and activate pitch teams and determine pitch casting 
  • Oversee the development of early-stage pitch engagement responses including written RFIs, RFPs, and credentials content  
  • Guide and enable pitch coordination including timelines, checkpoints, accountabilities, deliverables, design, and production needs 
  • Drive Pitch team to develop the “work” within a pitch including the proposition, strategic approaches, media plans, and commercials 
  • Manage, coach, and develop business development and Growth team talent and direct reports 
  • Establish strong, collaborative connections with client and team members to work seamlessly together.  
  • Build and strengthen integration between the growth practice and the broader global agency network 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of successful leadership experience in the media, marketing, or consulting fields 
  • Strong communication skills – Communicate clearly, concisely, adapted for audience, with a focus on soliciting feedback and driving consensus 
  • Ability to anticipate - Proactive self-starter with ability to understand what is needed and drive against it 
  • Excellent management skills - Work comfortably and effectively in fast shifting, high pressure, and constantly iterating environments and situations 
  • Build meaningful relationships - Establish productive working relationships, facilitate consensus, empower people, and inject a spirit of inclusiveness 
  • Bold and inventive – Bring/Create new models, new approaches, new stories, new capabilities 
  • Drive simplification – Ability to simplify complex concepts, constructs, and language

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $288,765 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
