Overview
As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will report to Finance Controller, and take on a strategic role, serving as a senior business partner, providing expert financial solutions to the Media business. You will also collaborate closely with various stakeholders to meet complex reporting requirements, with a strong focus on client-related and vendor-related matters and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities
Commercial Business Partnering & Strategic Controlling:
- Lead and oversee complex client-related and vendor-related financial matters in collaboration with senior stakeholders, including the preparation of fees proposals, resource allocation strategies, and comprehensive financial quotations.
- Supervise the billing, collection and payments processes, managing aging and accruals, and implementing effective solutions to enhance financial efficiency.
- Manage Cashflow and TWC.
- Spearhead the client contract process and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Perform advanced billing reconciliation, including managing foreign exchange variances.
- Conduct thorough accounting, tax, and balance sheet reviews using the SAP system.
- Oversee client audits and internal audits to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth, mitigate financial risks.
Advanced Reporting:
- Oversee and streamline the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy in actual and forecast revenue reports, client cost analyses, expenditures, and related financial documentation.
- Manage and track the BS items
- Manage the quarterly volume and trade discount reporting for global consolidation.
- Track and summarize clients spendings by detailed breakdown.
- Provide strategic insights and advanced reporting to global and regional leaders, including ad-hoc reports requested by the Global/MD/DMD/Senior Management.
Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members to build organizational capacity.
- Collaborate with executive management to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance, auditing, or management accounting, with a preference for candidates with Big4 audit backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong aptitude for strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
